“Kakao Games Europe” means Kakao Games Europe B.V., a Dutch company registered with the Dutch Trade register under n° 62780476, having its registered office at Professor W.H. KCoin can never be converted into a legal means of payment that is accepted in any country or be repaid. “KCoin” means virtual currency which can be purchased in the shop or through partnering third party outlets such as Steam and can only be used in-game to purchase Game Currency, which in turn can be used to purchase Services and/or Virtual Items within the In-game Shop of each Game. “In-game Shop” means a virtual shop accessible from within the Game in which the User can purchase Game Currency with KCoin and Virtual Items with Game Currency. “Game Terms” means the specific terms of use of the Game that apply in addition and together with these Terms of Use. “Game License” means a license allowing the User to access and play the Game pursuant to the Agreement. Game Currency can never be converted into a legal means of payment that is accepted in any country. For more information about the Game Currency, reference is made to the Game Currency Appendix. “Game Currency” means a virtual currency that is and can only be used exclusively in an In-game Shop.
“Game Client” means the software necessary for the User to access and play the Game and/or for the Game to be downloaded and installed on the hardware of the User. and/or any of their subsidiaries, alone or together with third parties. “Game” means each and any game developed and/or published and/or offered by Kakao Games Europe B.V., Kakao Games Corp. “Forums” means the discussion forums for the Games, accessible to the User on the Website. “Exploit” means to play the Game in a way that is contrary to the manner in which the Game is intended to be played as determined by Kakao Games Europe. “Default” means the violation by a Party of its obligations under the Agreement. The Beta Test phases shall generally occur before the Release, but may also apply to updates or changes to features of a Game after Release. “Beta Test” means a test phase of a Game or a Service for the duration of which only limited content and features of the Game may be available.
“Article” means an article in the Terms of Use. “Agreement” means the Terms of Use, any Order and any Game Terms constituting the agreement between the Parties in the context of the Game, KCoin, Game Currency, Services and / or Virtual Items. “Account” means an account created among others on the Website and through partnering third party outlets such as Steam or in another manner as offered by Kakao Games Europe, which allows Users to access and/or purchase the Service(s).
